Color Composition III

The most reduced work in the Color Composition series: pure black and white horizontal stripes of uniform width run across the full format, interrupted only by a subtle central column where the stripes narrow and taper inward, creating a soft vertical axis of light. The effect is a quiet, breathing pulse — an optical phenomenon generated entirely from the most elemental contrast. The third panel in the 2023 triptych.
