Real Way

A vertical relief work in which a trapezoidal plexiglass panel — wider at the top and narrowing toward the base — is covered in dense black and white horizontal stripes that converge toward a luminous central axis. Five three-dimensional cubes in red and purple are mounted directly onto the panel surface at varying scales, appearing to tumble or float in space. The combination of the optical stripe field with the physical sculptural elements creates a compelling tension between the flat and the volumetric, the painted and the real.
